Magistrax
The Virtual Project Director — a PMC / client-representative project-controls intelligence system for major EPC, infrastructure and real-estate programmes. Offline-first, AI-optional, with every number computed by code, never invented.
The Project Director flies blind between monthly reports. The contractor controls the narrative, FIDIC clocks expire silently, the record is scattered across inboxes and spreadsheets, and generic AI cannot be trusted with money — one hallucinated number on a certificate or claim is a career-ending event. On remote job sites, cloud SaaS dies with the internet.
Magistrax ingests, audits, interprets, forecasts and signals from one grounded data spine — it controls through the contractor’s data, never executes it. Code computes every number, date and countdown; AI only narrates, behind an anti-fabrication guard that verifies every figure against a code-computed FactPack or rejects the draft. Every FIDIC day-count, RAG band and threshold is per-project configuration, not hardcoded logic. It triages entitlement windows and exposure as decision support — responsibility stays with the Project Director.
- Next.js with a single-file SQLite database — offline-first, runs 100% local
- Deterministic engines: 13 EVM formulas + Earned Schedule, CPM, DCMA 14-point schedule quality
- FIDIC 1999 / 2017 clocks — 5 countdown timers per claim (notice, deemed-valid, particulars, determination, NOD)
- Optional, swappable AI layer (Gemini / Claude / local model) behind a numeric verification guard
- 126 automated tests across the engines; append-only audit record
- 0126 live modules, portfolio command center to audit shield, all running in one working build
- 02Live FIDIC time-bar countdowns on every claim; payment certification and financing clocks per certificate
- 03Look-ahead make-ready checks that flag a predicted delay before the miss happens
- 04Recovery economics: accelerate-or-take-the-delay quantified per scenario
- 05Runs fully offline on a laptop — built for real job sites with weak internet
